Purpose Deep
Meaning & Significance
Scripture
Colossians 3:23-24
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Devotion
Purpose runs deep when it is grounded in something larger than yourself. Your work, your service, your calling takes on new meaning when you understand that ultimately you are serving God, not just employers, audiences, or yourself. Scripture teaches that even mundane work becomes worship when done for God. This transforms everything. You are not just going through the motions but engaging in meaningful service to the God who created you. Your purpose is deeply significant because it connects you to God's larger purposes in the world. This perspective changes how you approach your daily life.
