Beauty Created
Creativity & Expression
Scripture
Genesis 1:27
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Devotion
You are created in the image of God, the ultimate Creator. This means creativity is woven into your nature. You are called to create—through art, music, writing, cooking, gardening, parenting, problem-solving, relationship-building. Scripture teaches that we bear God's creative image. When you create, when you bring something new and beautiful into the world, you participate in God's ongoing creative work. Your creations do not have to be famous or perfect to matter. They matter because they express your unique vision and contribute beauty. They are your offering.
Today’s Step
Create something today. Write, draw, cook, plant, build, decorate, imagine. Let your creative image-bearing nature express itself.
Prayer
God, thank You for creating me in Your creative image. Help me to embrace my creativity without fear or judgment. Help me to create beautiful, true, and good things. Help my creations reflect Your character and bring beauty to the world.
