Renewal in Connection
Renewal & Growth
Scripture
Psalm 23:2-3
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake.”
Devotion
Renewal happens in connection with God. When you rest in His presence, when you follow His leading, when you trust His guidance, you are refreshed. Scripture teaches that God leads us to places of renewal—green pastures, quiet waters, right paths. But you have to follow. You have to rest. You have to allow yourself to be led. Do not exhaust yourself trying to find your own way. Follow your Shepherd. Be refreshed in His care.
Today’s Step
Where are you exhausted? Where do you need renewal? Follow God into green pastures and quiet waters. Rest. Let yourself be refreshed in His presence.
Prayer
God, lead me to renewal. Help me to lie down in green pastures. Help me to rest beside quiet waters. Help me to follow Your leading. Refresh my soul in Your presence.
