Lamentations 3:22-26
“Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the Lord's salvation.”
Devotion
God is faithful. This is foundational truth. When everything else fails, when people disappoint, when circumstances shift, God's faithfulness remains. Scripture teaches that God's compassions are new every morning and His faithfulness is great. He does not fail. He does not abandon. He is constantly working for your good. When you grasp this deeply, trust becomes possible. You can wait quietly because you trust His faithfulness.
Today’s Step
Recall a time when God proved faithful to you. Remember how He came through. Let that memory strengthen your faith in His present faithfulness.
Prayer
God, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for proving over and again that You can be trusted. Help me to believe deeply in Your faithfulness. Help me to wait quietly, knowing that You are faithful.
