Strength in Weakness
Endurance & Persistence
Scripture
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.”
Devotion
Your weakness is not a barrier to endurance but an opportunity for God's power. Scripture teaches that God's power is made perfect in weakness. When you acknowledge your limitation, when you depend on God rather than yourself, when you surrender your strength and rest in His, you access power beyond yourself. You can persevere not because you are strong but because God is strong. Let your weakness become a doorway to His strength.
Today’s Step
What weakness do you wish you did not have? What if that weakness is an invitation to trust God's power? Today, surrender your weakness and trust His strength.
Prayer
God, help me to see my weakness as opportunity for Your power. Help me to depend on You when I am weak. Help Your strength to flow through my weakness. Help me to persevere through dependence on You.
