Transformation Through Challenge
Trials & Growth
Scripture
1 Peter 1:6-7
“In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
Devotion
Challenges are tools for transformation. They are not punishment but opportunity. Scripture teaches that trials prove the genuineness of faith. When you persevere through difficulty, your faith is proven real. What survives the fire is valuable. Your character, refined through challenge, is precious. When you face trials, remember that they are transforming you into something valuable. You are being refined like gold.
