“Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied. This too is meaningless.”
Devotion
Holding too tightly diminishes joy. When you cling to possessions, when you cannot release what you have, you are bound by what you own. Scripture teaches that chasing wealth never satisfies. The pursuit ends in emptiness. But when you hold things lightly, when you release and give freely, you are free. Open hands receive more than closed fists. Give. Release. Let things flow through you rather than being trapped by them.

What are you holding too tightly? What would it look like to open your hands and release? Today, practice generosity and openness.
Prayer
God, help me to open my hands. Help me to hold what I have lightly. Help me to be free from the grip of possession. Help me to give generously and to receive freely.
