Serving Others
Integration & Growth
Scripture
Galatians 5:13
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”
Devotion
Your freedom is not for self-indulgence but for service. Scripture teaches that true freedom expresses itself in humble service to others. September brings opportunities to serve—in work, in family, in community. Serve well. Serve humbly. Serve with love. Service is not drudgery but the highest use of freedom.
Today’s Step
Where are opportunities to serve in September? How can you serve humbly and love well?
Prayer
God, help me to use my freedom in service. Help me to serve humbly and love well. Help service to be my highest expression of freedom. Help others to be blessed by my care.
