Endings & Transitions

Scripture

Ecclesiastes 12:13

“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

Devotion

October moves toward November, and the year nears completion. Scripture teaches that the conclusion of all learning is to fear God—to respect, honor, and obey Him. As the year completes, ask: Have I drawn closer to God? Have I honored Him? Have I obeyed His guidance? These questions matter more than accomplishments or productivity.

Today’s Step

Reflect: How have you honored God this year? What will you carry forward?

Prayer

God, help me to focus on what matters most. Help me to honor You. Help me to obey. Help the end of this year to be faithful.
