May Awakens: Summer Energy
Vitality & Joy
Scripture
John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and to the fullest.”
Devotion
May arrives with energy and renewal. Jesus promises abundant life—not survival but thriving. This vitality comes not from external circumstances but from knowing that life is a gift and that you are called to engage fully. Scripture teaches that Christ came that we might have life abundantly. This abundance is available now: in relationships, in meaningful work, in beauty, in purpose. As summer approaches, let yourself wake up to the fullness of life. Stop merely surviving and start truly living. Let May's energy awaken you.
Today’s Step
What area of your life feels deadened? Where do you need to bring vitality back? Today, take one step toward fuller, more abundant living.
Prayer
God of life, awaken me to the abundance You offer. Help me to shake off what deadens me and to embrace vitality. Help me to live fully and completely, engaging with all that You have given me. Let May be a season of renewal and aliveness.
