Communion with God

Prayer & Intimacy

Scripture

Psalm 27:4

“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

Devotion

Prayer is not a religious obligation but intimate conversation with the God who knows you completely and loves you unconditionally. In prayer, you bring your authentic self—questions, doubts, frustrations, joys—and meet God. Scripture teaches that the greatest pursuit is to know God and dwell in His presence. When you commune with God, you experience the deepest form of presence and connection. This transforms everything. Problems do not disappear but gain perspective. You experience being fully known and fully loved. Make prayer not just a practice but a lifestyle of presence with God.

Today’s Step

Spend time in prayer today. Not as a duty but as a gift to yourself. Speak honestly. Listen quietly. Experience communion with God.

Prayer

God, I seek You above all else. Help me to make time for genuine communion with You. Help me to be honest in prayer, to bring my whole self. Help me to experience Your presence and love. Let prayer be my greatest practice and privilege.
