Healing Relationships

Reconciliation & Grace

Scripture

2 Corinthians 5:18-19

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation... God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them.”

Devotion

Broken relationships are among life's deepest wounds. Yet reconciliation and healing are possible. Scripture teaches that God reconciled us to Himself through Christ's grace, not by counting our sins against us. We are called to offer the same grace to others. Healing a broken relationship requires courage, humility, and faith. It means stopping the scoreekeeping, extending mercy, and creating space for restoration. It means owning your part, forgiving theirs, and moving forward. This is possible when you trust God's power and goodness. Take the first step toward healing today.

Today’s Step

Is there a relationship that needs healing? What would it take from you to offer reconciliation? Today, take one step toward that relationship.

Prayer

God, help me to be a reconciler. Help me to extend grace to others as You have extended it to me. Help me to take steps toward healing broken relationships. Give me courage to apologize, to forgive, to rebuild. Let me see others as You see them.
