Healing as Ministry
Compassion & Service
Scripture
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those who are in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
Devotion
God does not waste your pain. The healing you experience becomes compassion you offer others. When you have suffered and been restored, you understand suffering in a way the unbrokenhearted cannot. Scripture teaches that God comforts us so we can comfort others. Your journey through pain qualifies you to serve others in similar pain. Your brokenness becomes a bridge. Your healing becomes a testimony. This transforms your suffering into purpose and your recovery into redemption. You are not just being healed for yourself but equipped to minister to others.
Today’s Step
How has God healed you? How can that healing equip you to serve someone else in similar pain? Today, reach out to someone who is suffering.
Prayer
God, thank You for healing me. Help me to use my healing to serve others. Help me to share the comfort I have received. Help my suffering be purposeful, my recovery redemptive, my healing an offering to others.
