Ephesians 4:14-15
“Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Christ, who is the head.”
Devotion
Growth means moving beyond spiritual infancy toward maturity. It means being less easily swayed, more rooted in truth, increasingly wise. Scripture teaches that growth is the goal—maturity in Christ, development of character, deepening of wisdom. You are called to grow beyond where you are, to develop new capacities, to reach toward greater understanding and transformation. This is not a one-time achievement but a lifelong journey. Prayer
God, help me to grow beyond where I am. Help me to mature in faith, in character, in wisdom. Help me to not remain infantile in my thinking but to develop deep understanding. Help me to grow toward becoming the mature, whole person You created me to be.
