Purpose Discovered
Calling & Direction
Scripture
Jeremiah 29:11
“"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."”
Devotion
God has a purpose for your life. Not a vague or distant one, but a specific calling grounded in your gifts, your context, and your heart. Scripture teaches that God knows the plans He has for you—plans for good, for hope, for a future. Discovering purpose is not about figuring it out alone but about listening to God, noticing where your gifts meet the world's needs, and stepping into what calls you. Your purpose may not be grand or public but intimate and personal. It matters infinitely to God and to those you touch. Listen for your calling. It is waiting for you.
Today’s Step
Where do your gifts meet others' needs? What have people thanked you for or asked your help with? Today, notice where your purpose might lie.
Prayer
God, help me to discover the purpose You have for my life. Help me to listen to Your calling. Help me to see how my gifts can serve others and glorify You. Give me clarity about my direction and courage to walk in my calling.
