Peace Found

Peace & Stillness

Scripture

Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Devotion

Peace is not the absence of problems but the presence of God. When you bring your anxieties to God in prayer, when you express gratitude even in difficulty, peace emerges. This peace is not logical—it does not depend on circumstances improving. It is a supernatural gift that guards your heart and mind. Scripture teaches that this peace is available in every situation. You do not have to wait for perfect circumstances. Peace is available now. Access it through prayer, thanksgiving, and trust.

Today’s Step

What is causing you anxiety? Bring it to God in prayer. Express gratitude for what you do have. Notice the peace that begins to guard your heart.

Prayer

God, give me peace. Help me to bring my anxieties to You. Help me to practice gratitude. Help me to trust that Your peace guards my heart and mind even when circumstances are uncertain.
