Scripture
Colossians 3:23-24
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Devotion
Your daily work—whatever it is—can be your ministry. Scripture teaches that when you work as if serving God, everything becomes worship. Your attitude transforms. Your engagement deepens. You are no longer just working for a paycheck or for others' approval but serving God through your work. This applies to any occupation: parent, teacher, laborer, artist, administrator, care-giver. When you see your work as serving God, it gains meaning and purpose. Give your whole heart to what you do.
Today’s Step
Today, approach your work as if serving God directly. Give your whole heart. Notice how this shifts your engagement and attitude.
Prayer
God, help me to see my work as service to You. Help me to give my whole heart to what I do. Help me to understand that my daily work is a form of worship. Let my work glorify You.
