Hope Lived
Hope & Resilience
Scripture
1 Peter 1:3
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
Devotion
Hope is not passive waiting but active living. When you have hope, you make different choices. You believe change is possible, so you act toward it. You believe God is at work, so you align yourself with His purposes. Scripture teaches that hope is living—it moves and acts and shapes how we live. Live your hope. Make choices as if God's goodness is real. Behave as if redemption is coming. Act as if your life matters eternally.
Today’s Step
How would you live differently if you truly believed God's promises? What would you do? Today, live your hope.
Prayer
God, help me to live my hope. Help me to make choices as if Your promises are true. Help me to act as if redemption is coming and my life matters eternally. Help my hope to shape my living.
