Hope Grounded
Hope & Resilience
Scripture
Hebrews 6:19
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
Devotion
Hope that is grounded in God is unshakeable. When circumstances shift, external security fails, and the world changes, hope in God remains. Scripture teaches that this hope is like an anchor—it holds you steady amid chaos. What is your hope grounded in? If it is in circumstances, people, or outcomes, it will fail when those change. But if your hope is grounded in God's character and faithfulness, it will hold. Anchor your hope deeply in God.
Today’s Step
What has shaken your hope recently? How can you ground your hope more deeply in God rather than in circumstances? Today, strengthen your spiritual anchors.
Prayer
God, help me to anchor my hope in You rather than in circumstances. Help my hope to be firm and secure. Help me to trust Your character and faithfulness. Let nothing shake my hope in You.
