Transformation Begins
Renewal & Growth
Scripture
2 Corinthians 3:18
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Devotion
You are being transformed. Not by your effort but by the Holy Spirit. When you gaze on God's glory, when you behold His beauty and goodness, you are slowly changed into His likeness. Scripture teaches that this transformation is progressive—ever-increasing. You do not have to force it or achieve it. You have to behold it. The more you see God, the more you become like Him. This is the deepest transformation: becoming who you were created to be, reflecting the character of Christ.
Today’s Step
Take time today to behold God's glory. Look at His creation, read Scripture, sit in His presence. Let beholding begin transformation.
Prayer
God, transform me into Your image. Help me to behold Your glory. Help me to gaze on Your beauty and goodness. Help the Holy Spirit to work in me, transforming me with ever-increasing glory into the likeness of Christ.
