Devotion
Loyalty is expressed through love. You are loyal to those you love: you protect them, you trust them, you hope for them, you persevere with them. Scripture teaches that love does these things always. True love is not conditional on whether the other person deserves it or returns it. It is a commitment. Loyalty in love means staying, believing, hoping, and persevering even when it is difficult. This is what God does for us. This is what we are called to do for each other.

Prayer
God, help me to love with loyalty. Help me to protect, trust, hope, and persevere with those I love. Help me to be faithful and true. Help me to love as You love me.
