July Closing: Refined and Free
Integration & Wholeness
Scripture
Malachi 3:3
“He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness.”
Devotion
July closes with you refined by heat, freed from what held you, and whole in a new way. God has been at work: testing you, purifying you, releasing you. Scripture teaches that the refining process produces something valuable—gold and silver refined, men and women ready to offer righteousness. You have been tested and tried. You have been freed from fear, shame, bitterness, and control. You have learned to trust, be grateful, and remain loyal. You are being refined into something beautiful and useful. As you finish July, carry this refinement forward into August.
Today’s Step
Reflect on July. How have you been refined? What have you released? What have you learned about trust, gratitude, and loyalty? How are you different than you were? Carry this forward.
Prayer
God, thank You for refining me through July. Thank You for the heat that has purified me. Thank You for freeing me from what held me. Help me to remain grateful, loyal, and trusting. Help me to offer righteousness. Help me to continue being refined into Your image.
