Finishing Well

Endurance & Persistence

Scripture

2 Timothy 4:7

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Devotion

Finishing well is about completing what you started with integrity. Scripture teaches that what matters is not just starting strong but ending faithfully. Some begin with enthusiasm but lose focus or give up when difficulty comes. Others sustain through the hard middle and finish weak. The goal is to fight well, to finish the race, and to keep the faith all the way through. This requires persistence, faithfulness, and recommitment when motivation fades. Can you finish what you started? Can you see it through?

Today’s Step

What did you commit to that you want to finish well? A project? A relationship? A goal? What does finishing well look like? Today, renew your commitment to finish.

Prayer

God, help me to finish well. Help me to keep the faith through the entire journey. Help me to not lose focus or give up when difficulty comes. Help me to complete what I have started with integrity.
