Devotion
Forgiveness restores what shame has broken. When you receive forgiveness—from God or others—restoration happens. Shame loses its power. Brokenness begins to heal. Scripture teaches that what was crushed can rejoice again. If you are carrying guilt, shame, or remorse, forgiveness is available. Receive it. Be restored. And offer it to others so they too can be restored.
Today’s Step
Is there guilt or shame you are carrying? Can you receive forgiveness? Is there someone you need to forgive? Today, begin restoration through forgiveness.
Prayer
God, help me to receive forgiveness. Help me to be restored from shame. Help my broken places to rejoice. Help me to offer forgiveness to others so they too can be restored.
