September Transition: Toward Fall
Seasonal Transition
Scripture
Isaiah 40:8
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
Devotion
Late September shows fall arriving. Leaves turn. Weather changes. Days shorten. Scripture teaches that while seasons change and beauty fades, God's word remains. In this transition, hold what is eternal. Let go of what is temporary. September's change is beautiful precisely because it is temporary. Life cycles. Seasons turn. This is the rhythm of creation.
Today’s Step
What is September teaching you about change? What can you let go of? What can you hold onto?
Prayer
God, help me to embrace this season's change. Help me to let go of summer and move into fall. Help me to see the beauty in transition. Help me to hold what is eternal while releasing what is temporary.
