Resilience Tested
Strength & Endurance
Scripture
Job 23:10
“"But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold."”
Devotion
October's darkness tests resilience. When comfort decreases, when light diminishes, when cold arrives, your strength is tested. Scripture teaches that testing produces refinement like fire refines gold. Your resilience is built in difficulty. In October, stand firm. Know that difficulty is temporary and your strength is real.
Today’s Step
How is October testing you? Where is your resilience being challenged? How can you stand firm?
Prayer
God, help me to be resilient. Help me to stand firm when tested. Help difficulty to refine me into gold.
