March arrives with the unmistakable power of resurrection—things that appeared dead bloom again. This is not mere sentimentality but a pattern woven into creation itself. Christ's resurrection is the ultimate awakening, the final defeat of death's grip. When you feel the stirring of new life in spring, you are witnessing the same power that raised Jesus from the grave. You too can be awakened. Not just renewed in mood or circumstances, but genuinely brought to life in areas where you had grown numb or hopeless. This awakening is available to you now, today, in whatever area of your life has felt lifeless.
Today’s Step
Identify one area of your life that feels dead or dormant—a relationship, a dream, a passion, a practice. Intentionally take one step toward bringing it back to life today. What small action could awaken it?
Prayer
God of resurrection, thank You for spring's undeniable reminder that death is never final. I feel the stirring of new life in the world around me. Awaken in me that same power. Bring to life the areas of my heart, mind, and spirit that have grown cold. Help me to shed what no longer serves and to bloom with new vitality. Let me experience the resurrection power of Christ not just as doctrine but as lived reality in my own life.
