Strength Through Vulnerability

Authenticity & Trust

Scripture

2 Corinthians 12:10

“That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Devotion

Paradoxically, admitting weakness opens the door to genuine strength. When we stop pretending, when we stop hiding, when we get real about our limitations and struggles, something powerful happens. We become channels for God's strength. We connect with others through honesty. We experience freedom from the exhausting performance of having it all together. Scripture teaches that God's grace is sufficient in our weakness, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. Vulnerability is not weakness but the gateway to real strength.

Today’s Step

What are you hiding? Choose one person you trust. Be honest about one real struggle. Experience what freedom from pretending feels like.

Prayer

God, help me to stop hiding my struggles and to be honest about my limitations. Help me to understand that vulnerability is not weakness but a doorway to Your strength. Let me trust that when I am broken, You are most active in my life.
