Courage in Vulnerability
Bravery & Action
Scripture
Proverbs 28:1
“The wicked flee though no one pursues them, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”
Devotion
True courage includes the willingness to be vulnerable. When you can admit struggle, ask for help, acknowledge failure, and show your authentic self, you display deep courage. This is different from bravado or false strength. Scripture teaches that righteousness gives boldness—but righteous boldness includes honesty about your humanity. The righteous are bold enough to say "I don't know," "I made a mistake," "I need help," "I'm struggling." This kind of courage builds connection and trust. It models wholeness. Be courageously vulnerable.
Today’s Step
With someone you trust, be courageously vulnerable today. Share something real about your struggle, your doubt, or your need. Experience the strength of honest vulnerability.
Prayer
God, give me the courage to be vulnerable. Help me to be strong enough to admit weakness. Help me to be bold enough to be honest. Help me to show my authentic self and to trust You with what others see.
