Releasing Shame
Release & Freedom
Scripture
Romans 3:22-24
“This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Devotion
Shame tells you that you are fundamentally flawed and unacceptable. Scripture teaches that you are justified freely by grace. Your past failures do not define you. Your mistakes do not disqualify you. Christ has paid the price. You are accepted, forgiven, and free. Release shame. Stop believing the lie that you are beyond redemption. You are not. You are loved and accepted despite your failures.
Today’s Step
What shame are you carrying? What past failure are you holding against yourself? Release it. Believe that you are justified by grace, not by your performance.
Prayer
God, help me to release shame. Help me to believe that I am justified by grace, not by my works. Help me to know that I am accepted and loved despite my failures. Help me to live free from shame.
