Purpose Tested
Calling & Purpose
Scripture
Proverbs 27:12
“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.”
Devotion
Purpose is tested in fire. When difficulty comes, when obstacles arise, when you are tempted to quit, your commitment to your purpose becomes clear. Do you truly believe in what you are called to? Are you willing to persevere? Scripture teaches prudence—wisdom in recognizing challenges and adjusting wisely. This is different from giving up. It is making wise choices while maintaining commitment. Test your purpose. Does it hold? Does it matter enough to persist?
Today’s Step

Prayer
God, help my purpose to hold in difficulty. Help me to be wise in facing challenges while maintaining commitment. Help me to adjust strategically. Help my purpose to be proven genuine.
