Proverbs 3:13-18
“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than jewels; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.”
Devotion
The psalm concludes the month by returning to what wisdom offers. It is not a single reward but a constellation of blessings: health (long life), material provision (riches and honor), and the fundamental quality of peace. Notice that wisdom is personified—she is not just a concept but a way of living, a path to walk, a presence to follow. When you have established your life on the fear of the Lord and pursued the pathways of wisdom throughout the month, you find that the accumulated effect is peace. Not the absence of difficulty, but the presence of alignment. You are living in accordance with reality as God has designed it, and that creates a kind of stability and satisfaction that no amount of external circumstances could produce.

Reflect on this month: where has wisdom led you? Where has pursuing God's way brought peace? Celebrate that movement.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the path of wisdom. Thank You for showing me that the fear of You leads not to restriction but to freedom, not to burden but to peace. Let me continue to pursue wisdom in all its forms, knowing that in doing so, I pursue the deepest kind of flourishing.
