Every morning brings new mercies and a fresh opportunity. You are not defined by yesterday's failures, today's mistakes, or tomorrow's fears. God's compassions are renewed. Every single morning. This is not a poetic figure but a lived reality you can count on. You have the freedom—and the grace—to choose differently today. The Stoics taught that the only moment that matters is now. The past cannot be changed; the future is not yet here. All you have is now. Begin again. Make this day different. Make this moment different. This is available to you this very morning.
Today’s Step
Where did you fail yesterday? Where are you still carrying shame? Release it. This morning, God offers new mercies. Begin again. Take one action that reflects your best self, not your worst past.
Prayer
God of mercy, thank You for Your compassions that never fail. Thank You for making my portion You, not my achievements or failures. Help me to wake each morning with hope, believing that today I can choose differently, live better, and grow deeper. Let me not be imprisoned by yesterday. Give me the grace to begin again.
