March Midpoint: Reflecting on Growth
Assessment & Gratitude
Scripture
Philippians 3:13-14
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Devotion
As we reach March's midpoint, this is the moment to reflect on your growth since the year began. Don't dwell on failures—that path leads to despair. But do acknowledge progress. Celebrate what God has done. Then release what is behind. The rest of your life is ahead of you. What matters now is pressing forward. You are becoming who God intends, but you are not there yet. There is more growth, more learning, more transformation ahead. The goal is not behind you; it is ahead. Keep your eyes there.
Today’s Step
Reflect: Since January, how have you grown? What has God taught you? Celebrate it. Then look ahead: What is God calling you toward next? What will you press toward?
Prayer
God, thank You for the growth You've worked in me since the year began. Help me to not dwell on failures or compare my journey to others'. Help me to press forward with intention, forgetting what is behind and straining toward all You have called me to. Let me be grateful for how far I've come and hopeful for where You're leading.
